It should be no surprise that Emily DeStefano is one of Evanston’s top performing real estate professionals given the breadth of her experience and strong ties to the community. Emily has been leader and manager throughout her long career in sales and education. Her strong communication and negotiation skills and her ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations (crucial in a real estate transaction!) are the hallmarks of her success.
Emily and her husband have owned and operated DeStefano Development Company in the Chicagoland and NorthShore area for more than 15 years. Her development experience has given her a unique insight to understanding first-hand all the processes involved for both the buyer and the seller. Emily believes that attention to detail, market knowledge, and her exceptional ability to build strong relationships is what makes her stand out in her field.
As a resident of the NorthShore for over 15 years Emily has been extremely active in and committed to her community. She has served on several influential boards on the North Shore including the Junior Board of Evanston Hospital as a founding member, the Junior League of Evanston NorthShore, the Garden Club of Evanston, the Woman’s Club of Evanston, the Parks and Recreation Board for the City of Evanston, Dewey Elementary PTA, Nichols Middle School PTA, Haven Middle School PTA, Evanston High School Boosters, and ESSCA.
